
For centuries now, the Veneto Region has been Italy's acknowledged capital for Polenta. The MOLINO CERESER CAV. GINO (The Cavaliere* Gino Cereser Mill), located in the heart of the Veneto just a few kilometres from Venice, continues with its own tradition; seeking to provide the best corn-flour Polenta in all of the Veneto. It is true that much has changed since the company was founded in 1957, but not our love of work or our efforts to make a product that gets better and better as time goes on. Our principal product, Polenta, is processed through use of only top-quality refined corn flour. We make use only of varieties of corn grown in the Veneto or Friuli regions. In particular, the flour employed for our Polenta is exclusively of the semi- glossy type, because this type is distinguished for its more vivid colouring and more pronounced taste, flour best suited for making more flavourful high-quality Polenta. It is undoubtedly the case that Polenta is a dish whose value should be heralded again and again, because it is a foodstuff deserving of honour and acclaim from the dietetic standpoint as well. Recent studies have proved that the presence of corn in our daily diet helps avoid the onslaught of arteriosclerosis. We here at MOLINO CERESER CAV.
